Strop Brand DE?

Hello All,

I was in a junk store today, saw a nice little display of razors (lots of miniature razors and the like) . They did have a black adjustable, pretty long handled--the shop owner called it a Strop Razor. It had the original box, that faded seemed to say "Strop." It had a dial just like a Gillette adjustable and was a butterfly. Any ideas on what this is? I felt like taking a pic on my smart phone, but the guy was pretty old school and I didn't want to offend him.

Maybe a mismatch? Hard to say without pictures, but based on the description it could have been a Gillette Super-109 in a Valet AutoStrop case.

It does look like the Super 109. It was 10 bucks and pretty cruddy. Will go back and check on it next week, as I think I was the only visitor to the store in a few decades.
