Straight Razor Shape-Up

I'm an amateur barber, cut mine and my family/friends hair, however I use feather straight razor's to shape-up the hairline of my client,

like this (near the end of the video):

So the end result is this:

However the blades are terrible poor at lining up the hair and it takes me several times to get the desired look.
Would a hand made and sharpened expensive blade like one off this site be acceptable to use on the hailine considering I have being cutting hair for 6 years?
I know that such a blade would cut very sharp

Typically cuts from straight razors are very shallow.
As for the feasibility, I think you would need 2 different blades. One with a square point for the precise tailoring of the side-burns. However, around the ears, you might be better off with a round-point. Now the good news, is that you would be better off with narrow blades, and those tend to be a lot cheaper than the wider kind.

An expensive, handmade razor will only perform as well as the user. Any decent razor would be fine, but you should check your local laws on using that type of razor as most places have outlawed them. My suggestion would be to go with a Weck hair shaper and some Personna blades.
