What's new

If the world ended I could caidao - superfluous razors !

CADY 3.jpg

I`ve zigged and zagged with four passports since the late sixties and came to the unescapable conclusion that if push comes to shove when things go pear-shaped when the world ends I could use this bespoke PM caidao to shave and cook and brush cut outside - it`s certainly sharp and tough enough - it can push-cut cigarette papers, obliterate coconuts, go through oil-drums and defend myself because it`s apexed and honed.

I`ve sharpened straights in the field many times with no special gear in the past - between a rock...

For a bet this Summer I shaved with it - of course it was far from perfect but better than looking like Grizzly Adams !

But, But, But all the macho shaving with an axe videos on the tube might be necessary one day !

It is so scary to think that we might need sharpie multi-tools in the future !

I cook a lot and can utilise any knife but I treated myself to a powdered metallurgy RWL-34 super-steel caidao - all my other ones are cheapie bargains BigJ

The end of the world will not signal in a new level of entropy on my part. I may spend a few weeks putting double ought buck into whoever comes between me and a La Gloria Cubana Series R, but that can't go on forever.
