Stirling: I have the 3 unscented

I own all three Stirling unscented soaps with Sheep being my favorite. I own 8 Stirling scented soaps but they aren't in my top 25 brands as far as scent goes. But a Great shave and containers and art work when they use it!

I've tried a lot of Stirling's soaps. But I actually wish I didn't have as many as I do. If I were to pare down my collection to what I truly like to use, it would be Unscented with Beeswax (absolutely no smell) and Glacial Electric Sheep (best of the sheep based). If my skin didn't get irritated from certain scents, I would add ... Glacial Strawberry Lemonade, Black Cherry, Almond Creme. An honorable mention must go to Weekend in Malibu. I never thought of Malibu when I've used it. It's more reminiscent of hanging out at the boardwalk as a kid with the smell of suntan lotion and cotton candy. Luckily, I don't get irritated from Christmas Eve. It's one I'm glad I have, though I rarely use it.

Currently, I'm 3017ing Naked and Smooth. After that I'll finish off Sheep. I have Unscented with Beeswax on order.

I would also like to add that Stirling's Unscented Glacial Aftershave Balm is my absolute favorite aftershave balm.

First of all I have 65 brands and over 400 tubs. I collect them and use them also. I try to buy 7 of each brand I like. My two favorite scents are saponificio varesino (12) and Moon Soaps (10) Southern Witchcraft (13) and House of Mammoth (15) are my favorite unique scents. They both are in my top 3 lathers along with MacDuff's (9). My three closest shaves are Oaken Labs ( hate the scent) Lothur ( so so scent) and Areffa bear tallow (7) ordered directly from the Ukraine. Nice scents but a work in progress. My favorite all american scents and splash combo are Chiseled Face (8) and Fine A. These two have my favorite splashes.

sorry I actually own 14 strirling scented soaps. In order of preference: island man, margarita in the artic, duchess, black cherry, scots pine sheep, obsidian, piacenza, ozark mountain, arkadia, mountain man, ben franklin, coniferous, executive man and barbershop. yes yes the last two are the best sellers and i really dont like either.

Barbershop was the first Stirling soap that I ever tried as a sample and I’ve had Orange Chill and Margaritas in the Arctic in my rotation for roughly six months or so now. I like all three with maybe Orange Chill getting the slight nod ahead of the other two. I’m very eagerly waiting to try out the Stirling Sheep tub I have coming in this week. Ordered that one strictly based on all the glowing reviews of its performance by the Badger and Blade community.

I have probably tried almost as many Stirling soaps. However, I always buy the one ounce sample pucks And about 2/3 of what I tried I likely would not buy again. Of these three were from their mutton tallow line and all were great. This is why I love their sample pucks which are good for 12-14 shaves. I did buy a refill puck of Varen (mutton) a few months ago as this is a seasonal offering and I know I like it. I also have purchased several samples of their EDT, Witch Hazel, and Aftershaves. I just do not want to be committed to soap or scent I may not enjoy.

You can make me a ranking of the best brands for you
I would like to know your top 5 and it doesn't matter if it's tallow or vegan

I no longer have a lot of Stirling soaps. The only one I have remaining is unscented beeswax. I think this is their best base and it is a soap that I will have always on hand. I like to use it alone. However, I also like to take an under performing soap and load my brush with unscented beeswax, and then load the rest of whatever soap I'm trying to improve. Works every time.

I finally used a sample of Unscented with Beeswax that I had sitting around for several months and am really impressed. It lathers super easy, even with hard water, and has above average slickness imo. Another bonus is that is has even less of a smell than Naked and Smooth.
