Just thought I'd check in with my progress since I've started with the DE, I had began using the Parker 97r but I've now added an Edwin Jagger DE89.
Have to say the Parker is more agressive and the Edwin Jagger alot more forgiving but I really like both, each shave I'm now getting great results with no irritation, redness or burn and my technique is improving greatly.
I'm also loving the experimental side using different soaps, creams etc... and seeing what works and what doesn't, at the moment my fave combination is mixing Arko with L'Occtaine Cade, my wife bought the L'Occtaine for me and I'm impressed with it, also quite like mixing a little Tabac with Palmolive Cream as well.
So at the moment all good so far, I'd like to take the step of going for a vintage razor but don't know where to start so I got to look into that going forward.
Cheers
