Just saw a 3 piece DE marked "star" in the back instead of Gillette. Anyone know anything about those?

They show up on the Bay every now and then. Supposed to be a better shaver than the Tech. I bought one of those clothesbrush grooming kits and it was inside. Mine does not look to have ever been used, and I have not had the heart to use it, either.
BTW, I have picked up several of the kits and none appear to have ever been used. More of the 'Gee, thanks honey for this neat kit' and put on a closet shelf.

I have a Star DE 3-piece razor in Gold and use it as a travel razor.
It comes with a thin plastic traveling case that holds the razor and some blades.
It shaves as good if not better than the Gillette Tech and has a great to handle to grip.
A pretty mild shave overall.
I bought mine on B&B and it was fairly inexpensive from Darjeeling Express, I think?
Anyways, I like mine.

Here's a picture of mine from a SOTD post awhile back. Very similar to the Gillette Tech, it's strong point is probably the very secure grip the handle provides.
You can find the opinions of a number of members in this review thread.
I have one, used it for the life of one blade, and moved on. Just part of the collection now. It's a decent shaving razor. Pretty widely available used, still, so probably not the highest collectible value.
