Speick AS splash smell same as shaving cream?

I've been using Speick shaving cream for a few days now and really enjoying it. I am considering ordering up some of the aftershave splash. Does it smell the same as the cream?

- Doug

They have the same herbal scent. The SC, of course, has a soapy note to it while the AS splash has sharper alcohol scent.

I really like the AS splash. It has a nice clean scent to it. Unfortunately, it's not long lasting. It smells very good - I wish it stuck around a little more.

not really. I really get lavender from the SC, but the AS is more medicinal/herbal.

That said, it is a top-shelf AS and you owe it to yourself to get it--not so much for scent, which is fleeting, but for effect. It's a perfect AS to pair with a cologne.

I don't get much in similarity between the two. You'll love the aftershave anyhow, it's truly an amazing product. There's a bit of a 4711 opening to it (to my nose). The whole affair, scent wise, only lasts a little while, but your face thanks you all day.

Thanks for the input. I'm sold on its restorative qualities, so even if the scent is a little different I'll probably pick some up as a nice option for my den. SWMBO noted over the weekend that every time she turns around I've gotten something new on the tray she bought me to corral my shaving potions. :001_rolle

I have used about 70% of a bottle of the Speick splash. To my nose it smells similar to the Shaving Cream. Not an exact match, but very similar.

As mentioned above, the scent is not very long lasting perhaps 10-15 minutes at most. That's ok, as it won't conflict with your cologne.

I bought the AS based on everything said around here.
I would buy it by the gallon if possible.
That said, I subsequently have purchased the Speick SC, ASB and EDC.
IMO - None of them capture the invigoration and freshness of scent that's in the AS.
The SC and EDC have a lot going for them on their own but I will not buy another bottle of the ASB.
Please do yourself a favor - buy the AS.

The whole Speick Men's line is great. I have the shave soap, aftershave, bath soap, deodorant, and cologne, all of which are very good products at very reasonable prices. The scent of the deodorant lasts the longest on me - it even outlives the cologne... !

I haven't tried the shave cream yet, but I probably will. I'm already thinking about ordering the moisture lotion and shower gel.

I'm addicted to the Speick. :tongue_sm

Speick is excellent. I too have the deodorant (the Natural Deo Stick). To me, the scent is more anise than the usual Speick Lavender-like scent.

Ryan - I agree. All the Speick products smell slightly different, but are all in the same ball park - sharp, woody & earthy, herby, spicy. My favorite is the bath soap, where I pick up some sandalwood notes...

I don't knowthe shave cream but have recently tried the splash. I really enjoy the scent.

I'm surprised of your reviews above because the scent seems to last quite a long time on me.

you can try this product, it is very effective and cheap as well.
