Source for Rhodia notebooks in the USA?

Hey guys, just got my first Rhodia notebook off a recommendation here and I really love them! I'm a scientist and the graph paper inside is really nice for a lab notebook. Where do you guys buy them from? I got mine from Amazon but was not that impressed with the way it was shipped (it was dinged up around the edges a little bit). I'm looking for both the lined and graph paper notebooks. Thanks!

Edit: I put it in the title but I'll also put it here... I'm located in the US so it would need to be somewhere that ships to the US, preferable not at a higher shipping rate.

A... a whole vendor just for pens and paper? With candy? *gets credit card out*

Thanks guys!
A great way to try out different inks without purchasing an entire bottle each time is to join the Goulet's ink drop.

Or browse the sample packs that they have.

Some Platinum Preppies make for good pens to try out the different samples, include some silicon grease and you can turn them into eyedroppers, that way you don't need to worry about converters.

Rhodia is a good brand, perhaps also check out the other paper that Goulets stock.

Aaaaaand another one bites the dust.
I think I just heard you wallet scream.

I know I heard it scream!

Exactly why were here and what we like to hear.
Welcome to the Nib.

BTW I thought it was 'nucular'

As a nuclear physicist (well, grad student :001_tongu) I have heard more pronunciations of nuclear than I care to think about including!

Just split an order with my girlfriend, oh gawd what have I gotten myself into. We each grabbed a metro and some notebooks. I get the candy :001_tt1:.

I did the same and got my order yesterday. Ordered a metro, a bottle of ink and a Rhodia dot pad(and some other paper). Shipping was fast and they even wrote a handwritten note on the shipping slip thanking me and hoping I enjoy my new pen. I will definitely order from then again...Just wish they had free shipping if you spent like $50 or $100.00. $7.99 is a little steep for shipping when I can get the same products from Amazon for free shipping. I still ordered from them because I wanted to support a smaller family owned business and I really liked the owners blog and youtube videos.

Definitely, plus, for some reason, they (Amazon) doesn't seem to wrap their notebooks as well as their books. I thought it was funny they listed B&B under 'how did you hear about us'. The Nib must sent a lot of business their way.

There's an art supply store in NJ where I stock up on them when I'm in the area... not that that helps you. :001_tongu

I live in a college town, but the only art store near me is one of the big box ones (Michaels?). I'd much rather send my money to Goulet.

One thing I noticed is they (Goulet) don't carry Pelikan pens. I was thinking about picking up an M200 at some point...

Yeah... mine's a small chain called Jerry's Artist Outlet. They have a handful of stores in random areas.

For the Pelikan, I would recommend using: http://www.richardspens.com/

Richard Binder is a pen guru and makes sure all of his pens are writing perfectly before they're sent to you.

I love me the Goulets and cannot wait for when I can make another order. Those Platinum Preppies might be on the next order a nice cheap pen to try ink colours in.

You can't go wrong with Goulet. I've spent more there than I care to admit.

However, if you don't find what you're looking for or it's out of stock, Jetpens is another good source. I've purchased from them a few times, including my Midori traveler notebook (before they were available at Goulet). Only downside for me is they're on the West coast and shipping took a couple days longer. No biggie.

Edited: I just realized I bought the Midori at mymaido.com. However, I have bought several bottles of Iroshizuku ink (less expensive than elsewhere and free shipping) and Rhodia notebooks from Jetpens.

The Goulets have indicated in one of their videos that they can special-order a Pelikan. Not sure if they will still do so.

I do recommend Binder, or sometimes you can find them on the Bay for relatively cheap BIN prices.

The Goulet's are members here. We have directed many people their direction for one big reason- a family operation with EXCELLENT customer service.
