Let’s celebrate the rare and seldom seen shaving items from your collections and shaving dens.

We want you to show us items that we don’t see every day... Gillette Psycho or double ring Razors, weird vintage brushes and blades, out of production soaps, aftershaves, Fragrances, etc. Even vintage shaving posters/ads!

Let’s have some fun this week and educate the B&B community by showing some of your shaving items we rarely get to see.

P.S… Being creative and having fun IS of course mandatory as usual. Sticking with the theme is NOT mandatory. Feel free to post any SOTD photo or just tell us about your shave.

My first shave was with a Pakistani-made blade. When I opened the envelope and saw a black blade, very similar to the Soviet Neva, which can only sharpen pencils, I wanted to immediately replace it with a proven Sputnik. But then I decided to take a chance. And I managed to shave very cleanly and without a single cut and irritation.

First shave with the King C Gillette razor and blade. It was a pleasant experience. It is mild enough that I wasn't worried about irritating my skin, but still gave me a good shave without too much work.

Comments	This morning, the Razor Rock Classic soap is on its turn to be used. Today’s brush is an Omega Evo I purchased and received on Saturday. I had another such brush and it is my favorite synthetic brush so I decided to add one more. This one has a dark green handle and performs perfectly. I switched razors and I used my Feather AS-D2 razor paired with a Feather blade. The shave was perfect. Have a wonderful day, folks.

Razor : Micromatic Clog Pruf(Peerless 17 nib SB variant) solid brass. Mfg 1945, mid range. Excellent design and workmanship with a rack & pinion blade clamping tightening system. From my limited research millions of the 3 main Micromatic variants(MMOC, MMCP & MMBT variants) that where manufactured over their lifetimes.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(8) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle.
Soap : Razorock XXX Fresco, nice mentholated XXX clean scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Moka express" 26mm timberwolf synthetic. Excellent lather generator, luxury heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. 26mm synthetics rocks for my shaving needs.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock XXX Fresco with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Micromatic Clog Pruf (Peerless variant) with a coated Gem blade.
