Razor - Colonial Silversmith Blade - Astra SP Brush - Craving Shaving "Woodstock" 26mm Duro Cream - Art of Shaving Peppermint A/S - Stirling Eucalyptus Mint / Brickell unscented
Freaking awesome shave. I'm just really digging this razor. It maintains a high level of smoothness while still giving me a very close shave. Not the closest, but only by a very little bit. Brush was awesome in creating and applying the lather. Terrific peppermint scent, absolutely loved it. Just a super comfortable shave that left me smooth and feeling great.

CG level 2 with a fresh nacet blade. Caties bubbles mile high menthol. Paladin 26mm chief in lapis lazuli. Thayers lemon witch hazel splash. Man did the sunscreen sting when I sprayed it on my head and neck! Oh well. Pool was nice though. Hot day here today.

It was a super hot and sweaty day mowing the lawn and other yard work, so I needed a refreshing shave. In addition, I'm really enjoying this razor. It was a good buy, and I love the look.
Brush: TDR V3 Fanchurian Razor: GEM Damaskeene Blade: GEM PTFE (4) Lather: Australian Private Reserve/Southern Witchcrafts - Gravefruit - Soap (Vegan) Post Shave: Barrister and Mann - Fougère Angelique - Aftershave
This week I continued to be impressed with the performance of these old GEM razors. To me, the Damaskeene feels much smoother and milder compared to the Junior. If I could compare the two razors to Gillettes, I would say the Damaskeene is like a Flat Bottom Tech, whereas the Junior is more like a Superspeed. They're both nice razors that certainly have their place in a den.
I quite enjoy the density, backbone, and splay of this V3 Fanchurian. It's a brush I would have never sought out myself, so I'm thankful for my bud who sent it my way to try out.
Oh yeah, Gravefruit and Fougere Angelique are fantastic, complex, citrus scents. I wouldn't mind picking up the full-sized versions of these in the future. Have a great weekend, everyone!
