no irritation but not as smooth as I like, even for a 2 pass shave. Think the red tip will see less and less use. The Merkurs do a darn fine job and the Gems can shave Fridays stubble on Wednesday.

Blade: Dorco ST-301(3rd, and last, day) - I'm really starting to like this blade
Soap/Cream: Tabac SS - "Fidelity" is once again cast to the four winds when a new product arrives - I just had to try it. Going back to the Proraso SS for the rest of October, then joining the "Month of Tabac"

Software: Dave's Mystic Lime Glycerin Preshave, SCS Melazze soap, witch hazel, SCS Lavender ASB, SCS Lavender EDT
Procedure: Soften stubble with preshave, three passes + blade buffing, rinse and tone, apply SCS Lavender stuff for wedding. Have to smell nice when we are dancing cheek to cheek!

Software: Dave's Mystic Orange Glycerin Preshave, AOS Sandalwood soap, witch hazel, Dominica Bay Rum, Corn Husker's
Procedure: Soften stubble with preshave, three passes + blade buffing, rinse and tone, apply liberal dose of Dominica because I like. It's fresh, clean and sadly fades quickly.
