Sonnal slant

Here's an excellent example of the Sonnal Nicplata (nickel-plated) slant bar razor from pre-WWII Germany. They German soldiers used the Sonnal razors during the war and I just ordered some NOS Sonnal blades for this pristine set. Stamped DRGM -- so they look like they are from before 1945. Wonder when exactly.

Can't beat that German engineering. And the very col faux-lizard (or snake) skin case.

Conventional 3-piece razor, but nothing conventional about the slant & deco styled handle.

Beautiful and mint slant bar razor. Hefty, classy, and they certainly don't make them like this any more.

Thants a nice one jake i spotted one that looked excactly the same on ebay not long after i purchased these 2 slants but with my fingers in other pies i had to leave it there...

stuck a pic in not to hijack your thread the guy had the art deco listed as a sonnal but turns out it was a golf..
