nice but I new it had more than it was showing so I didn't finish it and just put it on my bench and left it alone for a couple of weeks. Today I was doing something else and I looked over at my bench and knew it was time , it already had a few coats of CA on it
But I had a idea I put it back on my lathe and reshaped it. The grain is special and I wanted to make sure I brought it out.
Pictures do not do it justice the way it changes in the light , the way it pops when you spin it . The Grain is what makes it for me
I have made a few from this tree that I really like but this one is right at the top of my list.
This one is going to be in the Sue Charity Auction. So I ask you guys to pick a knot
It is drilled for a 26mm knot.
