Sometimes, bigger is better

This Ever-Ready 100T was inspired in the following thread (see post 241):

It’s also the first handle I dramatically increased the size of the knot hole (19mm to 26mm). My initial plan was to use an Ever-Ready 500PBT (all black with a gold colored ring around the mid-section.). Unfortunately, the 500PBT is in terrible shape and I’m still working on it.

As you can see in the above link, a ST bulb was used. To maintain the flow and aesthetics of the shape of the 100T, I went another knot route.

Very nice. I agree the bulb shape gives a nicer look in these handles. I did my first one using a fan and ot works great but my second one i used a bulb and it looks much nicer

What type of bulb to put in it (bulb or fan) was a hard pick. I enjoy bulb knots more than fans, but I've been on a fan thing lately. :biggrin1: If I do another ER in this shape/style, I'll do a bulb.
