Softest brush for soap user and face latherer

The recent surge in boar related threads plus that custom thread had drawn mr away from badgers! All this time I'm having a paralysis of analysis!

I'm loving my Tabac shave stick and have developed a preference for tallow based soaps. But I also love really soft tips! My omega 10029 with a 50mm loft is to uncomfy for me after using my fully broken in Omega Pro 98. It's a 60mm loft with a 27mm knot making it much softer than the 10029.

I'm wondering if the semogue 830 and SOC would be even softer? Or would I have to get a silvertip badger to experience the softest tips at the expense of backbone? Would a silvertip be impossible for a soap user?

Semogue 830 would fit the bill...it feels very soft.

but for the softest experience, I reach out to my Heinrich Thater Finest Silvertip...very soft and surprising good backbone

Certainly not. A silvertip which is very dense and has a short loft can have a lot of backbone, making it great for soaps, while still having soft tips. Plenty of brushes out there match that configuration. And there's always custom brushes, too.
