Hold it your hands for a few minutes to warm and soften it.I have an old, hard Arko shave stick that I want to press into a mug. How do I (can I) go about softening it to make it malleable. I've never tried it before, so any info would be appreciated.
Definitely do not microwave tallow-based soaps.Should I warm it up in the microwave after grating?
I have an old, hard Arko shave stick...
I grate it with a cheese grater and mash down as much as I can. After a couple uses and it softens up a little mash it down some more.
Lady, honesty compels me to admit I have Arko in my pocket. But...on the off-chance you are in the mood to "think of England", then arrangements can be made.I tried warming it up in my pocket and my girlfriend said "Is that an Arko in your pocket or are you just glad to see me!"
Arko is malleable as is. I recently turned a stick into a puck by slicing up the stick into 8-10 pieces and pressing them together in my container. The body heat from your hands softens it.
