Sobakawa cloud

My wife bought 2 of those Sobakawa cloud pillows. This morning I get up and see one of our dogs laying it head on it. I just had to share it with someone.

Always follow your dog. Didn't you ever watch The Twilight Zone?

I've been using a sobokawa for almost 20 years, but I reserve it for times when I have a neck ache- it cures it overnight.

Is there a reason you don't use it every day? I have been searching for a pillow I like and have been thinking about giving one of these a try. Whats you guys overall impression of them?

cute pic btw.

Reason? I need an excuse to pry it out of my wife's hands. she has a bad neck, and it's been a lifesaver. We must have three or four of them around the house (but one never seems to make it under my head).

One of the great things about them is that they don't seem to change over time, unlike feather/polyfill pillows that flatten to the thickness of a washcloth.

I didn't like the pillows. I personally thought it was too hot. But as always YMMV. Sure seems my dog like it though.

I don't get it in the neck as bad as the traps. I still think it is from a bad pillow. Do you think it would help with that.

It's really a lovely looking dog. Are they well behaved? I live in a NYC apartment. I'm thinking of getting a dog in the next year and am looking into breeds.

As with any dog you have to be the pack leader and show that you are in charge. They have a strong prey drive and when outside have to be kept on a leash unless in a fenced in area. Our girl is highly intelligent I mean problem solving intelligent so they can be hard to train. They are almost like cats in the way they groom themselves. They are by far the easiest dogs that I have had to house train. They almost house train them selves. But they do shed and blow their coat twice a year. Ive read that they can be dog aggressive but my dogs have never shown this behavior and in fact they think every dog they see is suppose to play with them. You can read more here. http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/shiba.htm

These guys might be able to help you more with questions about apartments they are also in NYC.
