After you are done with your soap, what do you do with it? do you let it sit out for a while to dry before putting a lid on it? or do you rinse off all the foamy soap and then just close it up while its still wet? I'm not sure whats the best way to finish up after a shave and i dont want to ruin my soap( Mikes natural TIN ) any help is appreciated.

I always leave mine open to dry. This has the added benefit of making my shave den smell nice.
No rinsing, I just put the lid back on. If it is very wet, I don't screw the lid on tightly so it isn't air tight, but I've never really paid it much though.
My pucks sit in coffee mugs that don't have lids. I rinse the remaining foam away, dump the water from the mug and store it.
I usually put the lid back on. But if it's an expensive soap I'll leave the lid off to hopefully make it last longer. I haven't noticed that it makes a whole lot of difference as long as you drain the water out first.
