Soap for the Gym??? Soap on a Rope??? Any soapmakers out there???

Hello everyone. I have recently gone back to the gym after moving and the new gym doesn't have soap in the showers so . . .

I was thinking that since we have an abundance of soap makers who belong to our community, is there anyone out there who has made a soap on a rope or a body soap in stick form?

I know the popular response will be to get some liquid body wash made by Gillette or somebody and carry it with you, but those never work well unless you have one of those plastic flower looking spongy things and they are not necessarily practical to bring to the gym, you know what I mean? The other thing is a bar of soap and a washcloth that you can toss into your wetbag after you use it.

Am I totally off here? What do you guys, who go to the gym regularly, do for soap in the shower?

Any soapmakers out there interested in putting something together?

lynchmeister had a post up not too long ago about a soap he liked: dirty moose soap. their goat's milk version can be gotten on a rope and can be used for bathing, shampoo, and shave. Cory liked the shave he got from it. Of note, the soap is unscented.

uh, here and here (look for "goat on a rope")

I have small bottle of Dr. Bronner's soap that I take to the gym with me. It's excellent, and there are several scents to choose from.

I'm a mixed martial artist so I work out frequently. The best soap for anyone who uses locker rooms or gyms is Defense Soap. It lasts forever and uses natural essential oils to protect you from MRSA, swine flu even herpes.

Check it out you won't be sorry. http://www.defensesoap.com

Thank you very much for the tip! My brother-in-law and his two sons have had MRSA now for over a year and can't seem to shake it. This might help them.
