Tomorrow I get to do water changes, three tropical tanks, one cold water and then a brackish tank.

You're going to need at least a 29g soon with a plec. I've had them get up to 14 inches.

I believe you are right. The little 10 gallon is a bit overstocked! But the betta is very happy with his tank mates and it's going well. I will see about getting a larger setup in time.
