What's new

So what do you use to store your shaving goods?

B&B's Man in Italy
Everything is on my shelves in the bathroom. I actually have more space occupied than my wife!

Little bit of everything. I keep my brushes, razors, scuttle/mug out on a shelf. The software that sees regular use is stored in a cabinet under the bathroom sink. The stuff that doesn't get regular use is in a storage box in a spare closet. All razor blades are kept in a safe.

I keep everything I'm not actively using in plastic tubs underneath the sink. Probably need to start searching for some room...and some more tubs...

This 2-Drawer Mesh Organizer lives under the sink.

And my blade stash fits nicely in this lacquer box.

Both of these ideas are shamelessly stolen from adventurous souls on B&B who posted them first.

Other than my DE and brush which are always hanging on their stand on the counter top, my AS is in sink base or mirror cabinet, most of my extra DE blades and straight razor are in a drawer in my room (I like to keep them out of the humidity of the bathroom). I think things stored in wooden boxes/drawers are less likely to rust-------not sure if I read that somewhere, but it seems to be true. My '66 Super Speed is in a little 'catch-all' tray on my dresser where it serves partly as decoration! Other miscellaneous soaps, strops, etc. are scattered about.

I keep a certain amount of stuff in the bathroom as this is not an ideal storage room with it's changeable climate!

See top left photo:-
'The Tower of DE Delights'.
This stuff is used on a regular basis. The brushes, pre-shaves, olive oil, open soap sticks, alum, post shave balm and the Old Spice are contained in a used wine box
to stop them getting knocked about. The razors are resting in an aluminium bowl on my shaving mug, the creams stacked behind and the single packs of blades are kept
in a sealed transparent box to keep them safe from moisture.

See bottom left photo:- 'The Aftershave Mall'.
The two Bvlgari bottles and the Tommy Bahama are empty, sadly!

Main photo:- 'Big Red Plastic Box #1'. (It's called #1 because I can't stop buying and there will have to be a 'Big Red Plastic Box #2' soon!)
This contains bulk pack blades, soaps, creams that have yet to be used, some are in the 'sampling' stage! There is after shave in their too and a Feather Popular.
This is on a chair next to my bed! I like to keep and eye on it plus there is a great scent from it and it makes the bedroom smell nice!

I'm relatively new to DE so I still get butterflies in my stomach at the thought of a new Proraso, Semogue or bulk blade box! That's what DE-itis does to you!
I think I need a shave right now!

Seeing as I live in an apartment with two other guys and our bathroom is TINY, I keep my shaving stuff on a shelf in my closet.

The girlfriend and I each have one of these in our master bath.

Mine is full of shaving stuff, hers has jewelry and random nicknacks on it. The second bathroom downstairs is CRAMMED with makeup and hair product. I'm tempted to start encroaching on her shelves in the master bath just to see if she notices.

The open stuff I store in my bathroom medicine cabinet. I keep my brush, soaking cup, open Palmolive shave stick, one opened cream, lathering bowl and one mug with soap at the back of my sink in the bathroom (if I use a cream or stick I use the mug to hold my brush while shaving). Unused items are kept in my bedroom. I really need to clean out my medicine cabinet and move the rest of the shave den in there.

For me its the counter of the bathroom at the moment cause my 16mo son loves to play in Dad's side of the bathroom. Anything glass, sharp or ceramic will not last long with lil detructo! The nice bathroom vanity we bought prior to his birth is near impossible to child proof drawers as they recess in. ugh
At least he is taking interest in wet shaving and he always goes for the Clubman AS as well.

Only a small bathroom, as such, not much space, but (Oh, my Razor and bowl don't usually stay there, but they're just drying). It's compact, allows air-flow and fits in that space. Does the job, and actually fits alot in it, looks smaller than it actually is...Value for money!:
