Glad to see you landed something and hope the new position works out for you. Third shift takes a special kind of person and I wasn't one of them.

I've worked second shift for most of 10 years now. I can do first shift, but honestly, second shift (3pm-11:30 for me) is where its at. I will say, however, I get more DONE on first shift, I just can't seem to get in bed early enough to be up at 5:30am. I also like 10% more pay, it adds up QUICK!

I could NEVER do 3rd shift. I'd be very irritable, so I stay on first or second They both work out well.

I showed up for work one morning(many moons ago) and the Company decided to close the doors on us. Pass & Seymour. They had hired security. A real team of goons. They escorted us into the building to retrieve our personal belongings and handed us a 'personnel' packet with all the info we needed. No notice.
