On the lookout for a purse
I am looking to replace my Wee Scot with a synthetic for face lathering. Yes I can search the web and compare notes on all the websites but I'm hoping someone out there already knows the answer. Thanks!

In my opinion, it's a bit too small and a Trafalgar T1 is a better brush. But that's just my opinion.

That Maggard 18mm Timberwolf is a great brush. I have one and it lathers nicely. It's the smallest synthetic I'm aware of. I reckon it's exactly what you're looking for.
ADP has a reaaaaaaaally small synthetic. Kinda expensive, as all things ADP. Not sure about the measurements.
Pricey, but a Simpson Classic 1 synth is a great brush IMO. The knot is great as far as synths go and is not the same as the Simpson Eco synth line.

I think I'm going to go for the Maggard thanks for all the replies!
Muehle had a 19 mm knot in the STF grade, my travel brush is made with it.
You're going to love it. I used to carry one for travel (before the pandemic), but it worked so well that it made its way into my regular rotation.
Off-topic, but how do you like the TFS aftershave?
The TFS Intense Line - Tabacum Crepito is a very nice aftershave. Complements the TFS Rasozero - Barbacco soap nicely.
Good combination when I want a nice, bright Tobacco scent.
If anyone knows of an old Wee Scot handle only, I am keen to try to fit a synthetic knot into it

Is it stiff like the Trafalgar or Chubby, or is it somewhat less dense and more pliable?
The wee Scot knot is 14 mm if I remember correctly, I doubt you will find a synthetic knot that small.
I find the Chubby perfect. Enough backbone to bowl or face lather yet splays and is dense and luxurious.
Indeed I am aware of the challenge but will make one myself if necessary.
