Slim seems to bite more than others?

I use mostly a super adjustable, fatboy and schick krona, but would like to include my slim in rotation. My problem is the slim seems to bite more than the others. Maybe it's a matter of finding my perfect blade for the slim. I measured blade gap and it's same all around and adjustment is fine 1 to 9. Your thoughts appreciated about the slim! Thanks.

I've never noticed a "bite" with my slim. It could be that you need to dial that sucker down a few notches, or perhaps try a different blade.

I tried #4 setting but backed down to #3. I use #4 on both super and fb. I'll try a crystal blade next time it comes into rotation.

I haven't used my Fatboy in awhile but I find the Super adjustable at least 1 click less aggressive then the Slim. Set to 3 it's less aggressive then any other razor I own, except maybe a Tech.

I have not noticed my slim being more prone to biting. It could be the blade, the setting you are using as well as it could be technique. I occasionally shave with my slim and I have mine set to 9, no biting me at all.. I guess because I have with my slants more, that the slim adjustable seems to be just as tame as the slants are for me... I would try a sharper blade *which feathers works great for me*..

Cheers,
