Slant v rake style (open comb)

I have been using EJ 89 and just after something more aggresive and something that I can get smooth in 2 passes if possible and remove 7 day growth. My beard is relatively heavy and I always have a 5 o'clock shadow.

From what I have read I think the above 2 mentioned razors might do it. Can someone please provide some user experience and let me know what your preference would be.

Slant razors are heavy.. good for thick and coarse beards..open comb razors clog much less in front of the blade itself.. the comb itself feels nice on your face

A different razor may help, but odds are you're going to need 3 passes get a really close shave no matter what you use.

You could also throw the Muhle R41 (2011-2012) model, very aggressive.
