Slant - 37c or 39c

Does anyone have experience with both the 37c and the 39c slants? I am going to get a slant razor and am wondering how both handle, shave, and if there are any advantages and disadvantages with one over the other?

I have both, a 37c in gold and a 39c. It is really a matter of personal preference (as is everything here) but I give a slight edge to the 39c, due to my larger hands. Either one gives a superb 3 pass shave.

I have not tried the 37 C, but my 39 C is a fantastic razor. After I got the 39 C, I don`t use any other razor.

I have them both. Slight edge to the 39C because I like the extra weight and heft. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

I've had the 39c for two weeks. While I cannot compare to the 37c I can tell you that it is one terrific razor that gives me the closest shaves I've had yet. It took me 2 days to get used to the longer handle but that was it (no adjustment to the extra blade exposure). Great razor.

Unless you have small hands just get the 39C the extra weight is nice and saying that you saved with The Schräg Vorschlaghammer is kinda fun too.

Every time I shave with mine I hear Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" playing in the background. I don't know how Merkur does that.
