Simpsons Emperor E3

I just purchased a Simpsons Emperor E3 Badger Silvertip.

Would love to hear of others experiences with this brush.

I've got an E2 in 2-band Super.
I really like it, probably has more backbone than any of my other brushes.

My only complaint is I am not a big fan of the "bulb" knot... I prefer a fan.

The E3 in 2 Band is a fantastic brush!!!

One of the few Simpson brushes I have never owned. Have thought about it for years as the handle had intrigued me but the knot,...not so much. Thus I am sticking with the Duke as my brush of choice. Use yours in good health.

I have the Emperor 3 Two Band. It's a versatile and precise brush. Great backbone and a nice long handle.... so it's great for soaps, creams and bowl lathering. Personally, I don't like it for face lathering because the handle's too long and the knot is too small.... although the tips are plenty soft. When I say it's precise I mean that with the small knot and the bulb shape you can pretty much put the lather wherever you want on your face without getting it inside your ears or up your nose. It's a great brush.... but I have found that I need a good face lathering brush in addition to it. One with a shorter handle and a larger knot.
