Simfix?

OK, I get the combination of Simpsons and Vulfix, but what is the story about these brushes?. OK, great, good, etc.

The Simpson brand was purchased by Vulfix a few years back. They used to be two different companies.

Simpson brushes have a very strong following and are generally revered.

But on the Simpsons website they show branded brushes "Simpfix" or "Simfix." I wanted to learn about these specific brushes. They are presented in their section on Limited Editions.

My guess is they are brushes that cross lines? Like if they stuck a Simpson line knot in a Vulfix line handle. Simpson seems to be doing a LOT of customs and LE's and such lately. Took a page from Semogue I suppose.

When people on forums use Simfix though it usually just means a Simpson brush made since Vulfix took over (last 3-4 years or so, I think).

Oh, my bad. For several months after Vulfix acquired Simpsons the Simpfix/Simfix moniker was used to describe Simpon brushes that were manufactured by Vulfix. I have seen the Simfix brushes on the Simpons website, but don't know much if anything about them.
