No seriously i'm glad everybody said it was a good brush to get. I'm sure i'll love it. i'm just now wondering if I would have been happier with the all black one. oh well i'm sure it will be fine. I do want another one with the black handle. glad my B-day is only 2 months away.

Considering the range of high priced brushes available, the mistura is really quite affordable. So when you think about it that way you actually just saved money getting it.I just wanted to thank all the people on here telling me to stop it. I now know you guys are total enablers. Thanks alot

You could think about it this way. The SOC Mistura is a very versatile brush. That means you won't need to collect a lot of different brushes, you can be happy with just a few. They are really nice.

Well I ordered from New England shaving company or something like that. still hasn't shipped. Des anybody have any experience with them and their shipping turn around times?

Finally got my brush in today and the stirling soap, baker street. My GF and I love the smell of the baker street soap. Brush was a little stiffer than I expected, but isn't broke it. Fully stuffed knot they didnt skimp on putting hairs in it. So far got a wonderful shave from the brush and soap. Sterling soap has been the most slick soap i've used so far. Great lather too.

I didn't know I would get shunned on the Decemboar / badgerary post your brushes forums though. I thought it should qualify for both. Oh well. I like it but now i'm scheming and going to start hoarding the change again, lol to get the SOC Black boar brush. I have a birthday coming up, I just love the look of the SOC C5 resin high gloss finish brushes. Thanks for all that encouraged me to pick up this Frankenstein bristle brush. I already love it and it's only going to get better for the next 1-2 months.
I sure enjoy it, in fact it is one of my favorites. Makes an easy lather with any soap I throw at it.

is that the butterscotch handle? how did you get that beautiful burnt orange look to it or is it just lighting or photoshop?
The color is somewhat similar to a traffic cone orange, but depends on the lighting.
