If you received a fragrance for Christmas, take a picture and show it. I was the recipient of a bottle of Caswell Massey Woodgrain. This scent is sandalwood based, with a top of bergamot. After a half hour or so, the bergamot fades to reveal a dry spice of cloves, eventually turning into sandalwood, cedar, and musk. The base of Woodgrain is warm, dry, and smooth powdery woods. One of the best spicy wood scents I have smelled. Comfortable, mature, dignified, elegant, classic. Woodgrain has been around for about two decades, now that I have it and have worn it, I know why. Woodgrain is also available in aftershave, bar soap, and shaving cream.
