Shot in the dark...

...So I just cut my hair after a year and 9 months and I'm not satisfied with my new haircut anymore (its only been like 3 days). I would like to either do a pompadour or a classy-cut like Cary Grant or something. However, I don't know the possibilities for getting a new "do" like that because my hair is thinning, but only on the top of my scalp. Also, my hair is awkward. When it was long, i had a few big ringlets and now that my hair is shorter, it is wavy towards the tips of the hair and slightly wavy on the right side of my hairline. So basically, I'm asking if there is a possibility that I could get one of those haircuts and it look good.

and just in case...if you know any good barbers in memphis, tn that could give me my new look please let me know

I'd say go to any old school barber you can find (and by barber, I mean a local barber who has been around forever, not a cosmetologist) and tell them what you want. They will then assess the situation and give you your options. They keeps it real.
