Shelf Life of Used M3,Fusion Blades

Although I am using a DE and SR, there are times when I need to use a M3, or Fusion. If I used a cartridge blade then let is sit for a few weeks, will it be the same as using it every day, in terms of the blade going dull? Thanks...

It should be fine, just keep it in a dry place because it's corrosion that causes them to dull.

Going dull by just not using it won't happen. What you will have an issue with is the lubrication strip drying out, that will make it seem dull. Provided you've used it and the strip has gotten wet. From what I remember, it takes a while for this to happen.

I also have a Fusion and a M3 power nitro I use quite often due to my lousy DE technique. I doubt they get dull if they sit somewhere but I always make sure to dry them with a towel before putting them away:001_smile

If you're not suing them just like rickboone said, the strips will be the biggest issue. Try to keep them dry and if the strips give you an issue don't wory, just make sure you're using proper lather techniques and you'll be okay. The strips are more made for those who simply attack their face in the morning with the razor.
