Shedding Simpson Brush

Hi everyone,

I purchased a Simpson Polo 8 (post-vulfix) brush on the BST here many many months ago and it sheds. I was hoping it'd going away as a lot of comments say to wait it out as most brushes shed some hair initially. Unfortunately, it has been a very long time and it still sheds a lot of hairs. Sometimes only 0-2 hairs per shave, but sometimes close to 10 or more. They can really just fall out. I take very good care of it and try to treat it with the utmost respect, but to no avail.

In spite of this I absolutely love the simpson polo line and would love to get another polo 8 or polo 10.

Anyway, I was wondering if there's anything I can do at all or if anyone has any advice on the matter.

Al3x: Contact Simpson's customer service. I had a similar problem with one of my brushes. They took excellent care of me. So much, that I bought another Simpson as a result. Search this forum or web for contact info..( progress-vulfix.com ) if my memory serves. Hope this helps, Bradley

From what I have read, Vulfix is a trustworthy company. Their customer service is what makes me feel confident in purchasing a brush made by them.
