Being a perfectionist, I wasn't quite happy with the look of my first shaving stand, so here is version 2.

Very nice. What woods/materials did you use? The lacquered look to the base and dark areas is sweet.

Thanks. It's all maple, recycled from an old gym floor my grandpa bought years and years ago. I painted the base, finshied assembly, then polyurethaned the whole thing to protect it from water damage.
