Shaving revalation

My fixcut gold and balsa wood arrived today so i thought id give some paste stropping a try, after i felt the edge i was gutted i thought i wrecked the edge but i thought wth may as well try it.

Lo and behold i have just had an outstanding shave dfs in one pass and bbs achievable with practice, i honestly can't believe the difference it's made.

From past threads and posts i have noticed it's hit and miss some love it some loath it and many are just uncertain or uninterested.

For me it's made ALL the difference, anyone else feel the same way?

What made you think the edge was wrecked?

I ran my thumb along the edge, to me it felt duller like i had rolled it clearly this wasn't the case it was just the edge being that much finer.

For the first time it took my very tough whiskers off with ease, just one pass so far i will be finishing up in a few minutes.

When the first pass went that well i just had to tell everyone!!!

Clearly just a stone honed razor doesn't cut it for me pun intended, three passes later and i have a super baby butt smooth face and just the one nick where i got excited on the neck even that is bbs and that was just going xtg!!

This was with my cheap ebay $20 prima solingen razor as well.
