Shaving Factory twist open DE

Has anybody tried one of these Shaving Factory Twist open DE razors? For $17.99 I am tempted. The picture looks pretty to me.

I do believe that would be a Weishi razor. I personally have no first-hand experience with it, but from what I've gathered they are pretty solid, albeit very mild shavers.

Can't hurt if you want a really inexpensive, new, TTO.

I wondered if it was a Weishi but it looked different to me. If I was short of blades I'd add it to an order and find out.

It is not a Weishi. It is what we commonly call the Ming Shi on these boards.

Quite a bit more aggressive when compared to a Weishi (which I found to be so mild, that it is nearly useless), and about the same level of Aggressiveness as a typical Superspeed.

I have shaved with a Ming Shi, and found it gave a great shave, and the overall build quality was quite nice. I won it as a Carnival of Smiles prize, and as I have too many razors, I put it into the hands of a newbie instead.

One of the major negatives of the Weishi is that it rattles when in a fully locked state, and they have been suffering from quality control issues as of late.

You can buy the Ming Shi cheaper over here:

Here are some reviews for the Ming Shi:

I stand corrected. Thanks for the info.

...Now I'm curious, as the reported mildness of the Weishi always turned me off...

The Ming Shi is a nice quality built made in China razor much better then the Weishi. However like previously stated its very mild.
