I have to give mad props to John at ShavingEssentials.biz for his awesome customer service. I had ordered a soap that seemed to have been defective. I scrubbed and scrubbed, and lathered several times for a couple of days to get it to release its odor and it didn't, so he offered to send me a replacement in a bowl! That is first rate service and I am looking forward to being a regular customer of his.

Now, I'm just waiting for it to arrive, oh the agony of waiting, lol.

That's a great deal. I love Trumper scents--I own Ajaccio Violets, Wild Fern, Eucris, and Spanish Leather. I would like to get more too....

Also ... In my opinion, Trumper's Sandalwood cologne smells very different than the shaving soap. The cologne is almost a perfect match for the skin food, but very, very different than the shaving soap. While I like all of them, be prepared that the cologne may not smell the same as the soap.

What does the Ajaccio Violets, Wild Fern and Spanish Leather smell like?

Ajaccio Violets is a very bright, sunny floral fragrance. Very unusual. It's fast becoming my favorite scent, and I really like how it can be used as an aftershave too.

Wild Fern is similar to Pen's English Fern. Again, it's hard to describe, but to me it's very green, natural, calming.

Spanish Leather is not really leather smelling, it's more soapy and slightly spicy. Very good, though.

If you are interesting in the Trumper line of fragrances, you should order their sampler. All you pay for is shipping and you get a boatload of things. It comes to $5 dollars or so, and you can make requests, so if you want to try the above fragrances, let them know.

I also highly recommend Eucris--that one reminds me of somehow discovering the ruins of the Great Library of Alexandria and poring over the ancient musty books. I know that doesn't sound good, but I love it.
