Shaving Cream of the Month

Gents, I've been considering a shaving cream of the month discussion thread. This won't be intended to be a sole product for use during the month rather a discussion thread and bit of review area for individual creams. This is not intended to replace the review section in any way just a place for us to discuss the products and perhaps compare varying reviews.

Before I start putting together the initial thread I'd like to gage interest in such a thing.

Would you be interested in participating in a monthly discussion on specific shave creams.

I love variety in shaving Cream and this would be a great idea to discuss longer term usage of it. Kind of a test drive review process!

One per month is perfect; it's easier to get SWMBO to play along if I want to purchase the cream of the month (every month!)

This was going to be my response. I wonder if it might be better/funner to do Shave *software* of the Month, and make the switch between AS, SC, SS. Just spit-balling.

great idea--my perception is that soaps are generally considered preferable here on b&b and generally get more coverage.

so far, my best shaves come with shave cream. a cream-only discussion like this would suit me right down to the ground.

I think that is just the natural progression for many wet shavers. There is something a bit more nostalgic about soaps and they tend to last a great deal longer (generally speaking). I myself have many more soaps than creams but I do appreciate creams and their convenience.

I enjoy the discussion threads of products very much but sometimes it turns into beating a dead horse.

It would be a great experiment though since it will be moderated a little better and maybe keep it on course.
