Shaving accident!

It happened yesterday, while I was changing my hands to shave the left side of my face, I think. I can't recall how it happened. I was distracted I guess and was performing an imprudent movement with the razor handling right when I literally hacked my filly in the back of my left hand right at the knuckle of my middle finger. Luckily the tendon remained intact but I needed stitches and a tetanus shot. Bad luck but a good reminder how dangerous these things are.

Thomas, I know we always say "Pics or it didn't happen" but all I can see is a small dressing.......
We don't believe you

Chicks dig scars but be careful with your fingers - in order to ensure it doesn't happen again please send me any Fillies and Hellies that you may have lying around - I'll put them in my razor bank for safety.

I did not want to post gory pics for the more sensitive le natures here but I will post a pic of the scar. Got already some on my face. Why are doing this straight shaving thing again?

I like a razor that is so eager to go on the attack. A razor that won't pounce on the unwary at every opportunity is a poor and unchallenging adversary. Wear your battle scar with pride.

I think there should be a new "old saying". How about " if you haven't cut something besides your face, you probably don't shave with a st8 razor".?

Scars on your face are ten a penny - I've got one on my finger from careless polishing of one of my MK33's - won't forget to dull the edge again!
So Thomas, how many stitches? :)

Heal fast. Ive got one on the top of my hand. A friend told me to be careful when I was sanding my blade so i said, "dont worry its dull watch this," as I stupidly dragged it across part of the top of my hand with no pressure. It left me bleeding for almost an hour and now I have about a half inch scar reminding me just how sharp these get. It wasnt even close to shave ready and it can still do damage.
