Shavin Soap User: Cream recommendations?

I'm sure there are a dozen posts like this but here we go again!

I enjoy my shaving soaps. Don't get me wrong but variety is the spice of life. My favorites are Mikes, Barrister and Mann, Tabac and MWF. Cream-wise, all I own is my first wetshaving product: Proraso Green. Revisited it again tonight with my new restore: TGN Finest XH 22mm/50mm green ER150. Fantastic shave!

I find that it isn't ideal for soaps; my boars seem to do much better. Anyways, what are widely regarded as must try CREAMS?

I've read TOBS Avacado is nice - I loooove Avacado. CO Bigelow is available at BBB but isn't that rebranded Proraso Green? What else do you recommend?

For soaps I like;
de vergule hand regular, Dr. Selby, Col Conk-Lime and Amber, Godrej, Arko and Valobra.

For creams;
Kiss my Face, Real Shaving Co, Dr. Selby, Dreadnaught and C.O. Bigelow.
These are my top favorites as of now.

Cremo is typically applied by hand and it's nice and slick but not much as to fragrance. Kiss My Face in a pump offers at least three fragrances and they make a really nice lather and provide good glide.

Sorry, I don't understand. Are you asking for soap or cream recomendations?

Fail. Shaving soap has been used way too many times in my vocabulary! It's automatic

Fixed.

I know they are expensive, but AOS soaps are top notch. I like them all. I think Edwin Jagger soaps are a bargain and much underrated.

Good luck in your quest.

David

TOBS Avocado is a great cream but doesn't smell much like avocado to me but more like a mixture of cucumber, melon and cut grass notes. I like it very much but some don't care for the fragrance. TOBS Jermyn Street is on par with TOBS Avocado, IMHO. It has a very pleasant fragrance that the majority of people like very much.

Doh! Now I'm the one with his foot in his mouth. You did say creams, so why am I telling you about soaps? I don't use creams, myself.

I think I will unsubscribe from this thread before I get myself into too much trouble.

You notice many TOBS on the list - I'll add one more - Sandlewood. Very rich sent without being overpowering and the shave it top notch. I'm also a MWF user, and I'm not sure if I'd rate MWF ahead of TOBS for shave quality.
And yes, CO Bigelow is essentially Porasso's traditional "green" formula. And yes, I like that as well. A tad under MWF and TOBS for shaving, but just a wonderful smell and feel.

AoS creams are top notch imho. Little pricey though.
KMF is usually readily available and very cheap, and also very good.
