Shave Brush

Everyday I evolve my shaving technique to enjoy a even better shave.
The last couple day in been working on my brush technique. I made a small discovery that if I splay my brush open. That I was able to achieve really nice face lather when I splayed it. The splaying also helped in loading the brush.

Splay away. I've heard that this is bad for the brush, but I think it is worth it!

Yes splay away...the brush will be fine...this is the way I face lather and my brushes are holding up just fine.

Instead of splaying, I use the upside down technique to load my brush with soap. I assume some of the soap gets put further into the bristles allowing me to get more lather. It may depend on the type of soap being used too.
