"Sharp" Blades?

I personally like them. Most here will post that they do not last many shaves.

YMMV of course, but they don't get a lot of love around here. I can get one shave out of them at best and that's with a fair amount of irritation and tugging.

I started out with them about 9 months ago in a Gillette and wasn't real impressed and went to Derby and felt like I was doing a lot better.

6 months ago I started using a Merkur Slant and used Derby, Shark, Feather, 7AM, and a few others in it with ok results.

A month ago I went full circle and put a Sharp blade into my Slant to retry them and haven't used anything else since. I get a very nice comfortable shave with little to no irritation or nicks, and have had a couple of BBS shaves with them.

I have a thick wire brush type beard and get 4 to 5 good shaves with them, about the same as the others.

I really like this combo, so I think I'll stick with it for a while.

For me an average but servicable blade; too many better blades for the same money to choose from so I won't buy them again.

A lot better IMO than the 7A.M.'s from the same factory.

I am using Sharps right now as part of my 3rd round of testing. During the first round I eliminated them and dropped them from consideration but decided to give them another chance and now they are in my top three along with Astras and Personna red packs. I haven’t tried anything like Feathers so I am still holding judgment on them.
