This is becoming intolerable.

Don't shave for a week and she likes the results. Five weeks later she still likes it, she told me she hates stubble/beards and I've been clean shaven for the past decade or so. Turns out she hates beards on anybody but me.

I've now got a beard and 20 odd straights to shave test.

Heard it all before. After being married for 11 years, I know there's only 2 options. Either do what she wants and make yourself miserable, or IF you are sure she won't kill you, do what you want to.

Allow me to help clear this up for your. She still hates beards. She looked at the $$$ you spent on straights, brushes and product. After that, she considered all of the "you" time that you are allowed each day in order to shave and made the decision that she dislikes those factors more than she dislikes the beard...

You could try this, no guarantees, of course. Keep scratching and digging at it, until she asks why. Tell her it itches like crazy and your skin is rubbed raw from all this scratching, and she'll say, "That's stupid! Why don't you just shave it off then? Geesh, MEN!"
