Found Grandpa's old Sextoblade set and I'm wondering if there's any source for new blades that will fit? Truely sorry it's not a 'real' straight. Years ago, about 50, I tried using it by mounting singel edge blades in the spines. The results were quite colorful but entirely monchromatic - blood red on a white background. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Absolutely! Hair shaper blades at your local beauty supply house. Pics of the Sexto or it didn't happen
Fromm blades work fine, you can get them from Sally's Beauty Supply.
Thanks guys, I'll pick some up. In looking for a good deal, I found a pack of 5 blades plus a Fromm #107 razor for $8.95. Are the Fromm shapers more or less modern Sextoblades? If so, it looks like I'll get to make a third entry.
The FROMM hair shaper is a cheaper version of the Weck and is a bit shorter in the tang portion so it may be a tad bit short for some as a straight. They also have a plastic insert in tang making it hard to grind down without melting it.
Thanks for the warning. I'll steer clear of the shaper and just focus on the blades.
Heck no! use it, I am going to do a rescale of one just for kicks. It would be nice to see another one in the contest.
