Sensitive skin / Christmas list help

Well I'm trying to add a few more pucks of soap to the collection and wanted to know what scents you recommend from the following manufacturers that will hopefully cause the least irritation:

Dr. Harris
Valobra
Razorock Karite - King Louis Lavender
Calani

I don't have a problem with MWF, Tabac, PdP, Cade and others. However, Fougere MdC and Cella definitively cause me trouble. Yes YMMV. But if you had to guess which one from each maker is the least scented, that would be a big help. Thanks guys.

I have had issues with a random assortment of products: ToBS Lime, RazoRock Fresco, and PPF Coconut. Klar Kabinett is marginal on my skin, it does tingle a bit. I can't pinpoint it to a specific ingredient, I believe its likely due to a compound in the fragrance oil. Never tried Valobra, but I'm generally fine with manufacturers in your list.

Cella is almond, which irritates quite a few people. Steer clear of RR R160 for the same reason. Petal Pusher Fancies makes an unscented as does Art of Shaving. If you are willing to add a cream to the list T&H makes one for sensitive skin.

So which Dr Harris for sensitive skin would you recommend?

How about Calani? I love tabac so Havana?

Hard to say its really a ymmv thing. I don't consider myself to have sensitive skin, but a tiny fraction of soaps do elicit a skin reaction when I do a skin test. I like the DR Harris Windsor scent the most, and I can use the soap without issue. I don't have a reaction to any Calani soaps. Classic Havana is much more refined and true to what I would consider a "tobacco" soap, I like it a lot better than Tabac. However keep in mind that I'm not a smoker or even smoked pipe tobacco, so what do I know .

In descending order of preference:

Classic Havana - My favorite Calani scent. It's a smoky, fresh, and clean. It's the most well done tobacco scent I've tried, and I like it better than Tabac by a mile.

Dubai - I don't get overt frankescence notes, rather it has sweet and citrus notes masked by something else. It's complex and my 2nd favorite Calani scent.

Iberian Sun - Reminds of RazoRock Don Marco / TFS neroli but with a bit more complexity. It's more orange (as opposed to orange creamsicle) and has notes of a spicier orange peel. Imagine mixing olive oil, oranges, and orange peel.

Oriental Plum - Not very fruity, but the sweet note is there. It's balanced with smoky tobacco notes. Contains lanolin and is very moisturizing. The scent is subtle but "full bodied" and lingers, possibly interfere with aftershave.

Malabar - This one is very nice. As per the description I get notes of cardamom, cinnamon, and neroli. It's very subdued and reminiscent of those delicious Indian ice cream desserts. The scent is subtle but "full bodied" and lingers, possibly interfere with aftershave.

Highland Honey - Sweet honey overtone, mixed in with some floral notes. I think it is very pleasant, but not for everyone.

Tea time - Exactly like fresh green tea, but with a grassy note. It's subdued and not very strong.

Gentleman - Fresh kind of like Irish Spring, hard to pin down the scent, but its not one of my favourites.

I don't know about the other Valobra soap, but I tried a sample of the almond croap (non-tallow) and it gave me a warm tingling on the 2nd pass, and was burning by the 3rd.

DRH does have a "Naturals" line of product that might be close to what you're looking for. That said, I've never used it and it's not the usual tallow formulation, so I can't vouch for it's performance...if it sucks, don't blame me. I have tried the Lavender, Marlborough, and Almond soaps with no issues - but if you had a reaction to Cella you might want to stay away from all things "almond" going forward. I'd say the Lavender had the weakest/mildest scent of those three I've tried. Garry's Sample Shop sells samples of the Windsor, Marlborough, and Arlington soaps for $13 total - you might want to check out that route.

If you're open to a different recommendation though, Mystic Waters sells one of the best Sensitive Skin soaps on the market. No EO/FO and it's got sea buckthorn, aloe vera, and allantoin - all good healers/anti-inflammatories for your skin. At <$10, it's a pretty smoking deal too.

I've tried mystic waters and sadly, it gave me trouble. I loved Mystic Waters Bay Rum scent so much. It didn't irritate my skin but refused to be stable - airy and disappearing despite loading it like it was going out of style.

I'm thinking Marlborough should be good or my skin if it's similar to Tabac. Well see.
