Semogue 610

I recently ordered a Semogue 610 from fellow member Techichi and have to say it's a great brush. He sells them for $22 shipped and I received mine in two days so that's superb service. I use various badgers and like them well enough but have been wanting to try something stiffer that has more scritch to it and the 610 fits this criteria nicelyhttp://badgerandblade.com/vb/member.php/48798-Techichi. I've used the 610 to whip up lather in my scuttle as well as straight face lathering and it did well in both but I think face lathering will be its future primary use as it really shined here.

I just received my 610 with red handle and the 1460 (same knot?). So far I have test lathered them both a couple of times and taken the 610 to the face once. It was quite a lather hog, had to whip up more lather mid-shave. The 610 handle feels absolutely great, and looks great too! I think I'll like these 2 brushes once they're broken in after a couple of shaves.

I agree, a very underrated brush.

Broken in it is a fantastic brush, I think my 820 is good too, hogs lather slightly more than the 610 which is superb.

My 610 is probably my most used brush. I face lather, and it is the ideal tool for the job. It makes short work of any soap I throw at it. There isn't a brush costing under $100 that I've tried that is on par with it.

Send a PM to Techichi here on B&B. My 610 (with black handle) arrived in 2 days, used it this morning. The brush looks much better in person than in pictures, the handle is nicely weighted, the indentations on the side fit your fingers, and the boar hair is dense and soft. A lot of brush for $22.
