Semogue 2040 vs. 2040HD Dedicated for Creams?

Title says it all. I am contemplating the purchase of one or the other, given the 2040's longer handle. My sense is that the HD is more geared for soaps, whereas the regular less-dense knot would allow for more air in whipping up the lather from creams, and less starter cream, which is what I want. Still, for 8 euros more, maybe it's better to pick up the HD all the same? This would be to accompany the Semogue boar 1438, which I find terrific for soaps and face-lathering. Don't need another brush to do the same thing.
