Semi-urgent: what to buy in India

A very close friend is leaving tomorrow for a month long trip to India and Kathmandu.

She has volunteered to obtain whatever shaving supplies I ask her to bring as long as I offer her some advice on where she can acquire them.

So what should I ask her to buy? A tuck of gillete greens comes to mind but wha else? Any creams or soaps you'd reccomend?

She leaves tomorrow, hence the urgency.

Godrej shave round--a really good budget soap (incomparably better than Williams)--will be super cheap, vs. about $4+ from internet vendors. The Godrej creams get perhaps even better reviews.
