Season Change / Soap Change

With Fall upon us here in the Northern Hemisphere, I made the change to my Muhle Sandalwood. I forgot how nice this soap is. So how about it folks (including our Southern Hemisphere friends), what do you do, if any in the soap department to mark the season change?

I started in the winter, and after my first summer and now fall I'm not sure I'll mix it up that much. Maybe I'll use the proraso a bit less. Definitely will be using my scuttle again soon though.

Put away the Proraso and the QCS Key Lime last week and broke out the Speick, LaToja, and QCS Old Spice Type. Nice transition until winter.

i only use two soaps, so i don't make the change. No worries, here, though as the soaps i use are fantastic. Enjoy the change.

I don't put anything away for the season but I do move away from CF Lime. It definitely strikes me as a warmer weather product for some reason. However I still like my Vulfix Luxury Lime Cream in the cooler weather - something about it lends itself better to fall than the CF.

Tabac, i Coloniali, MB (YOBS, Drakkar Type, Masonic Lodge), Mikes (Pine & Cedarwood and Barbershop), La Toja (normal, sensitive, and stick), AoS (Sandalwood and Ocean Kelp), TOBS (Mr. Taylors and Eton College), Erasmic, Cade (soap and cream), CF Cedarwood, LEA, DR Harris (Marlborough and Windsor), QCS (Fougere, Provence, and Juniper), Ems place Outdoors sample, Williams, MWF, and RazoRock (Zi Peppino, Bee's Knees, Classic, Don Marco, Moroccan Secret, S. Maria, Cumba Cheech, and Nonno Michelino), and a few samples are all on my list this winter.

Can't wait to try them all! :wink2:

The calendar may say it's Fall, but my spring/summer razor is still in use so the weather hasn't cooled off enough for change. When the weather actually gets cool enough for my fall/winter razor, Tabac should come back into rotation. It seems to get its heaviest use in Nov-Feb. I also recently picked up DR Harris Marlborough soap in anticipation of cooler weather. I consider the sandalwood scent family more of a winter scent.

yikes 10 posts before we get to the penultimate fall/winter - "you smell like Thanksgiving-Christmas" - scent: Bay Rum (Mike's Natural for me) and a choice of 4 aftershaves
Dominica, Master's, Krampert's and Gilbert Henry ASB

I just got my Mike's Lavindin and Eucalyptus... Woaaah baby this stuff screams winter.

Along with Tabac and MdC, I'd say I'm all set.

I'm breaking out the Captain's Choice Bay Rum AS, and just order Mystic Water Bay Rum.

+1 for Mike's Lavanden and Eucalyptus.

I've been using QCS Green Irish Tweed Type, but I've switched over now to Razorock King Louis. I'm really enjoying the lavender scent again.

For October: Mama Bear's Autumn Lodge. Trust me on this one, everyone should get a puck. Best scent ever
For November: I'm bringing back Marlboroughvember. I think I was the only one to do it last year, but I'm making a big push for it this year.
For December: I got Gingerbread from Mama Bear. I may have a few other Christmas-type soaps packed away as well.

There are some great soaps for these last three months to compliment the seasons!
