Search function not working? Looking for info on Shaving Oils

Hi,

I was looking for information and reviews for shaving oils. I tried using the site search on both Firefox and Chrome, and both gave me a database error message. Is the search function down?

Barring that, maybe you could give me some guidance to shaving oils. I remember seeing some post discussing them but can't find them because of... well, the search problem.

I was interested in finding a general discussion and reviews (I looked in the review section for Pacific Shaving and King of Shaves oil with no luck. I guess oils fall somewhere in between creams and soaps). Any help would be appreciated.

You should read the info on pre shave oils in the Wiki section. It is very informative. I think quite a few guys around here (if they use oil) just make their own or buy pure oils from the grocery store. I personnaly use Sweet Almond Oil which works well if you have dry skin. I know other popular ones are Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Grapeseed oil. I have never tried the king of shaves or the pacific shaving oil.

Try this. I searched for "PSO" which is shorthand for pre-shave oil.

I never use the site's search function anymore. It's much more effective to restrict google to the site - and google indexes this particular forum constantly.
